All of us have been in the situation when we did not know what to do with an old piece of furniture that did not fit with the rest any longer, or it was redundant or we simply got bored with it. However, with little imagination, such pieces of furniture can be transformed into aesthetic and original pieces. We can change its purpose and save money. By replacing plain glass with stained glass and with the use of wide scope of colours for wooden parts, you can get unique works of art where their original form is beyond recognition. This can be done with chests of drawers, showcases, tables, chairs etc.
Showcase decorated with roses which you can see in our studio is an excellent example of an old piece of furniture. The lower part was once black kitchen shelf without doors, and the upper part was a bookshelf. By combining these two pieces of furniture, painting the lower part in white, adding stained glass, interior lighting, glass doors and shelves, we got a beautiful showcase for placing painting material and presentation of unique glasses.
